Finally, Some Guidance on AI

I wrote my post last week about my concerns about arbitrators using AI before I knew that the National Academy of Arbitrators had issued guidance about its use. Advisory Opinion No. 28: The Arbitrator's Use of AI helpfully explains which sections of the Code of Professional Responsibility apply to the use of Generative AI and advises arbitrators when to avoid or disclose the use of those tools.

I only have a pdf of the opinion, which I can't link to here for some reason. The text of the opinion is at the link above, and I will have an article about the opinion coming soon, but I encourage you to read it and consider how you intend to use AI in your own practice.
