Well, here we are. The worst American year is almost over. I'm seeing headlines like The Trump administration's authoritarian house of cards is starting to fall down all over the place. We survived it. We will survive it. Today I listened to Maya Rudolph on Amy Poehler's podcast (Good Hang) as she spoke about portraying Kamala Harris in the runup to the 2024 election, and how she had so much hope mixed with fear. And she noted that even after Kamala lost, she didn't regret feeling hope, and that she still felt hope, because hope is something we do for ourselves. I loved that. As usual, in no particular order:
