Longtime readers know that this newsletter was initially called Pushback Rebuild. I hoped that news about resistance would be paired with news about policy ideas that might emerge in the post-Trump era. While a few think tanks have been kicking around ideas for a Project 2029, Democratic party leaders haven't articulated a clear alternative to the fascistic destruction they will likely inherit. Anyway, I still keep my eyes open for it. The first one falls into the Rebuild category:
