Folks, just 42 days to the midterm elections. Lots of work to do but we can see the horizon from here.

A couple weeks ago, I wrote about how the Argentina beef imports was truly riling Trump's base ranching and cattlemen supporters. I see that trend continuing, and I continue to think that, along with diesel and fertilizer prices, are going to draw either Dem support in rural areas or at least rural voters staying home.

Another trend this week: the coverage of the Kennedy Center protest got massive coverage in small media markets. It seems like a topic that has a wide interest, probably because of the lasting legacy of JFK and people's believe that his memorial should be uncorrupted by Trump. Probably not driving votes, but the coverage is interesting.
